Founded with a single facility in 1977, LAMPIRE Biological Laboratories has grown into a network of multiple farm campuses and state-of-the-art laboratory processing centers throughout Pennsylvania. Employing over 200 professionals across more than 600 acres and housing over 7,000 donor animals, LAMPIRE is strategically positioned to meet the evolving needs of our clients for decades to come. LAMPIRE’s Coopersburg, Pennsylvania facility, originally acquired in 1986 as Mayer and Myles Laboratories, is a key component of the company’s biological production network. This 5,000-square-foot laboratory has been continuously enhanced through strategic renovations and investment in advanced equipment. Its proximity to Lehigh Valley International Airport provides strong logistical advantages for efficient domestic and global distribution.
The facility includes dedicated shipping and receiving areas, an abattoir collection lab, centrifuge and whole blood laboratories, an autoclave and buffer lab, and multiple general laboratory spaces. Additional features include office space, a fully equipped conference room, and walk-in freezer and refrigerator units to support proper storage and handling.
Coopersburg specializes in the collection and processing of specialty organs and tissues, abattoir-derived blood and materials, and human blood products. The site processes and ships several thousand packages each month, supporting a global customer base.
Operations are supported by experienced management, technical, and quality teams, ensuring consistent product quality, regulatory compliance, and responsive customer service.
Everett Bioprocessing Laboratory

LAMPIRE’s Everett Bioprocessing Laboratory is an 18,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility dedicated to biological processing and life sciences research. Materials are sourced directly from the Everett Farm, ensuring full traceability and quality throughout the production cycle.
The laboratory is equipped to support full-scale bioprocessing, analytical testing, and production workflows, serving as a central hub for antibody development and biological manufacturing.
The facility processes animal-derived materials, including blood, serum, and plasma, and supports the production of immunoglobulins and secondary antibodies, as well as Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) packaging. It is also the manufacturing site for LAMPIRE’s OMNI C3 cell culture bag. As a full-service CRO facility, it manages custom polyclonal antibody programs from pre-bleed through full production and offers services including ELISA testing, pre-immune screening, antigen conjugation, titer testing, antibody purification and conjugation, PBMC processing, RNA isolation, affinity purification, and specialized procedures such as splenectomies and bone marrow collection for downstream applications including B-cell sorting and phage display.
The facility is supported by a multidisciplinary team, including PhD-level scientists, laboratory technicians, quality assurance professionals, project managers, administrative staff, and an international shipping team.
Everett Farm Campus

LAMPIRE’s Everett Farm Campus is a nearly 700-acre operation that plays a central role in the company’s biological production and research capabilities. Established in 1986 and expanded over time, the campus supports closed donor herds and CRO antibody development programs.
The campus includes more than 30 specialized vivariums for small and large animals, maintained in controlled environments. Infrastructure features include epoxy quartz flooring, stainless steel caging, automatic watering systems, controlled lighting, and 24-hour monitored alarm systems. The property is secured with perimeter fencing and controlled access and is fully AAALAC accredited.
The facility processes animal-derived materials, including blood, serum, and plasma, and supports the production of immunoglobulins and secondary antibodies, as well as Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) packaging. Established in 1982, LAMPIRE’s Ottsville Farm is the company’s original location and a foundational part of its biological supply operations. The 40-acre facility supports a diverse population of small and large animals.
The site has undergone continuous enhancements to support animal welfare and operational efficiency, including updated housing for avian species and the addition of a modern vivarium.
Ottsville supplies high-quality biological materials, including blood, serum, plasma, immunoglobulins, and secondary antibodies. It also supports CRO services, including custom polyclonal and monoclonal antibody development.
The facility is supported by teams in management, quality assurance, animal care, landscaping, and maintenance, ensuring high standards of care and production.

To support continued growth, LAMPIRE expanded its footprint with the acquisition of a property adjacent to the Ottsville Farm, establishing dedicated administrative office space.
The facility includes modern office environments and conference rooms designed to promote collaboration, communication, and operational efficiency. Ongoing space optimization and capital improvements continue to enhance workflow and organizational effectiveness.
This location supports company-wide operations, enabling efficient coordination across departments and enhancing customer engagement and service delivery.
Departments housed at this facility include senior management, operations, sales, customer service, marketing, IT, accounting, and human resources.
Pipersville Biotech Research & Resource Center

Built in 1997, LAMPIRE’s Pipersville Biotech Research & Resource Center is an 18,000-square-foot facility dedicated to advanced biotechnology research and manufacturing.
The facility includes certified Class 2, 5, and 7 cleanrooms with laminar-flow hoods, environmentally controlled housing, a 100% HEPA-filtered air system, and a clean/dirty corridor design. Additional features include backup generators, alarmed monitoring systems, 24/7 surveillance, and high-speed data infrastructure.
The center specializes in cell and tissue culture, purification, cell banking and cryopreservation, hybridoma development, monoclonal antibody production, and recombinant antibody development using B-cell technologies. Additional capabilities include pharmacokinetic and drug metabolism studies, teratogenicity testing, oligonucleotide antibody generation, and advanced antibody characterization.
The facility is supported by a highly experienced team, including senior scientists, laboratory technicians, quality assurance personnel, shipping specialists, and administrative staff, ensuring seamless execution from research through production and delivery.
