LAMPIRE Biological Laboratories is a leading U.S.-based life sciences company with five decades of experience providing biological materials, secondary antibodies, custom solutions, and specialized laboratory services. We support the diagnostic, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology industries with high quality blood, serum, plasma, immunoglobulins, specialty reagents, end to end antibody development, bioprocessing, and advanced laboratory capabilities.

Operating across AAALAC accredited and APHIS registered facilities in Pennsylvania, our vertically integrated model ensures full traceability, regulatory compliance, and consistent product quality. Animal Husbandry Is Our Top Priority

At LAMPIRE, exceptional animal care is the foundation of our mission. Our staff adheres to the highest standards of husbandry, ensuring that each animal receives proper nutrition through a carefully regulated diet and is observed twice daily for overall health and well-being. Animals are housed in clean, secure environments protected from outdoor elements, with controlled light/dark cycles and clear visibility to support early identification of any health concerns. Our dedicated animal care teams and on-staff veterinarians work together to maintain the health, comfort, and safety of every animal in our care. All facilities undergo rigorous inspection, both internally through our Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) and externally by the USDA and AAALAC, ensuring compliance with all applicable animal welfare regulations and guidelines.

Animal Enrichment Program

For more 50 years, we have actively fostered a culture of continuous improvement in animal well-being. We encourage our staff to develop new enrichment strategies that enhance the daily lives of our animals and support their natural behaviors. Our enrichment programs are tailored to each species and may include nutritional enhancements, foraging and nesting opportunities, and chewing or gnawing aids designed to promote physical and psychological stimulation. We firmly believe that exceptional animal care leads to exceptional products. Our Facilities

Founded with a single facility in 1977, LAMPIRE Biological Laboratories has grown into a network of multiple farm campuses and state-of-the-art laboratory processing centers throughout Pennsylvania. Employing over 200 professionals across more than 600 acres and housing over 7,000 donor animals, LAMPIRE is strategically positioned to meet the evolving needs of our clients for decades to come. The following highlights provide an overview of the capabilities and expertise available across LAMPIRE’s facilities.

EST. 1986 / Coopersburg Processing Laboratory

This facility is a 5,000 square foot laboratory that plays a key role in our biological production network. Enhanced through ongoing investment and advanced technology, the facility supports efficient domestic and global distribution.

EST. 2007 / Everett Bioprocessing Laboratory

This is an 18,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility dedicated to biological processing and life sciences research. Materials are sourced directly from the Everett Farm, ensuring full traceability and quality throughout the production cycle.

LAMPIRE Everett Farm

EST. 1986 / Everett Farm Campus

A nearly 700 acre biological production and research site supporting donor herds, antibody development, and biological materials manufacturing. The facility produces blood, serum, plasma, immunoglobulins, and secondary antibodies.

Lampire Ottsville Farm

EST. 1982 / Ottsville Farm

A 40 acre biological supply and production campus supporting antibody development and biological materials manufacturing. The site produces blood, serum, and plasma, and supports custom polyclonal and monoclonal development.
